As opposed to a traditional book club, which often mimics a strict classroom environment, we are aiming for a looser approach. Rather than choosing one book the entire group must read, we offer that each member picks their own book to read each month as long as it adheres to the monthly theme (i.e. Banned Books, Japanese Authors, Thrillers, RomComs, etc.). At the end of each month, we meet to discuss our book picks and talk women’s empowerment.
