2021 DCSD STUDENT ART SHOW
This year's district art show is being held virtually and is now up and running! Click the link below to see awesome artwork from Castle View students as well as schools/students across the district. Viewers are encouraged to vote on their favorite pieces. Students can vote on the "Kid's Choice Awards" and families can vote on the "WOW Awards".
FREE 2021 SUMMER SCHOOL IN DOUGLAS COUNTY
All families need to consult with their CVHS counselor before registering for any summer school classes. Final grades for Term 4 will be posted on 5/26. Counselors will be available until 5/27 by phone or email. CLICK HERE for all the summer school options; registration is now open for all locations.
COME TO THE FINAL ABC MEETING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
Thursday May 20th starting at 5:00 pm
We will start the meeting with a tour of the F-pod at 5:00 pm; meet inside the front doors of the school. The tour will be immediately followed by our meeting (please wear a mask). All parents and guardians are welcome to attend; we would love for your to join our Academic Booster Club and contribute to our upcoming 2021/22 school year.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY IS PROVIDING CVHS FAMILIES TOURS OF OUR CAMPUS THIS SUMMER
June 9, 16 & 23 AND July 14 & 21 - all from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

NHS TUTORING SERVICES - GET READY FOR FINALS
National Honor Society provides FREE tutoring M through Th during "Student Connection & Support Hour" from 1:55 to 2:55 pm.
Please have your student go to the library and the NHS Scholars will help assist them in the subject area needed.
IMPORTANT: A NOTE FROM OUR REGISTRAR
If you have moved or plan to move in the future, please email our CV Registrar, 
DELANA HOOGEBOOM for Withdrawl Forms. Records will not be forwarded without a parent signed withdrawal form and a completed student withdrawal form. 
**A parent/guardian must complete and sign the parent withdrawal form.
**On the last day of attendance, the student will take the student withdrawal form to his/her teachers to receive a withdrawal grade and the teacher's signatures.
**All textbooks and library books must be returned. 
**Outstanding fees must be paid or cleared by our CV Bookkeeper. 
**The student must turn in their school ID card, parking permit and clean out his/her locker. 
Upon completion of all steps, the student may obtain a copy of the withdrawal form, an unofficial transcript and immunization record.

(Deadline is 10 days prior to their birthday; NO exceptions.) All collected fees will go towards your Castle View High School Academic Booster Club.

Parents and guardians: you can use a symptom checklist to determine when to keep a child at home. There is no form to complete for DCSD students but THIS GUIDE is a helpful tool to use at home every morning to help determine if your student can go to school. The form can be printed and kept in a place for easy access every morning.
